Duke Nukem 3D No-CD Patch (Retail version 1.5 only)Posting this here because apparently this information isn't really allowed on the PCGamingWiki because of their policies and I wasn't able to find this information anywhere else on the internet. If you got the game from a digital storefront, none of this is necessary. 1. Open DUKE3D.EXE in a hex editor, go to offset 00087F93 and change the byte value from 84 to 2A. Copy the CD contents to the installation folder. 2. Open CDROM.INI Clear the contents of CDROM.INI Save the changes and close the file. |
